Understanding basic concepts of Molecular Biology. Basic techniques used for the study of molecular mechanisms. Understanding the structure and function of genes and the importance of interrupted genes (intron containing genes) for evolution. Comparative analysis of genome content and function. Understanding DNA replication, recombination and repair. sic

Course Content (Syllabus)
Gene structure and function. The interrupted gene and its importance in evolution. The content and orgnaization of the genome. Mechanisms of DNA replication. Mechanisms of recombination and DNA repair.
