Research interest

My research focuses mainly in investigating the effects of climate change, human activities and agricultural land use on several aspects of biodiversity, and especially soil biodiversity. I’ m further interested in revealing links among soil biodiversity/functions, environmental characteristics and ecosystem services as well as in developing methods to upscale the bio-indication potential of soil bio-communities from the sample to the landscape scale, or to scales that are important for conservation and management.
